grace education advocacy

African American Family with Mother, Father, Son, and Daughter

GRACE Education Advocacy is a nonprofit organization helping families navigate school systems, access resources, and advocate for the educational support their children need to thrive. We work alongside families, educators, and communities to remove barriers and strengthen pathways to student success.

Advocacy that moves families forward.

Our Mission

Every child deserves the support
they need to thrive.

To passionately advocate for the rights of youth and families facing schooling challenges. We are dedicated to collaborating with school systems, educators, and communities to ensure equitable access to quality education for every student.

Our programs

Creating pathways
to greater opportunity

Three programs. One shared goal: stronger support for students and families.

01

BRIDGE
Advocacy Program

Direct Advocacy

Support with school meetings, IEPs, 504 plans, MTSS, academic data, educational interventions, and navigating school systems.

Parent Coaching

Practical coaching that helps parents understand their role, communicate effectively with schools, and advocate confidently for their child.

Educational Rights & Legal Connections

Connections to appropriate legal education resources and attorneys when families need additional guidance regarding student rights.

02

ANCHOR
Tutoring Program

The ANCHOR Tutoring Program is GEAI’s academic support initiative, designed to reinforce classroom instruction and provide students with the extra support they need to stay on course.

Tutoring is available to families participating in the BRIDGE Advocacy Program, allowing support to align with each student’s educational needs and school-based interventions.

Services Include:
  • 1:1 Tutoring sessions 2-4 times a month
  • Monthly parent updates
  • Tutoring progress reports used during advocacy meetings

03

COMPASS
 Program

The COMPASS Program helps nonprofit organizations strengthen their effectiveness by aligning their mission, programs, people, operations, and outcomes to create meaningful and measurable impact.

Grounded in the COMPASS™ Framework, the program helps organizations identify
strengths, uncover gaps, and build practical systems that improve performance, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

How We Support Organizations:
  • Organizational Alignment: Assess mission, programs, operations, leadership, implementation, and data practices to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for greater alignment.

  • Strategic Planning: Establish clear priorities, measurable goals, and actionable roadmaps for achieving the organization's intended impact.

  • Impact Measurement: Develop practical systems for identifying outcomes, measuring progress, using data, and communicating
    impact.

  • Accountability & Continuous Quality Improvement: Build the capacity of leaders and teams to use evidence, accountability,
reflection, and continuous improvement to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
